i) MSc (Horticulture):
- Fruit Science

- Floriculture and Landscape Architecture
- Plantation, Spices, Medicinal & Aromatic Crops
- Post-Harvest Technology
- Biotechnology & Crop Improvement
- Horticultural Pathology
- Horticultural Entomology
- Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry
ii) PhD (Horticulture)
Eligibility:
a. For Doctoral Programme:
The
candidates should possess a Master Degree in MSc (Hort.) / MSc (Agri.) in
Horticulture or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Horticulture /
Agriculture University / Institutions recognized by ICAR with a minimum OGPA of
not less than 2.75/4.00 or 7.00/10.00 & for SC / ST / Cat-I 2.25/4.00
6.50/10.00 or its equivalent in the above Degree Programme.
b. For MSc (Hort):
The
candidate should possess a Degree in BSc (Horticulture) / BSc (Agriculture) or
its equivalent qualification from a recognized Horticulture / Agriculture
University / Institutions recognized by ICAR with a minimum OGPA of not less
than 2.25/4.00 or 6.50/10.00 & for SC / ST / Cat-I 2.00/4.00 or 6.00/10.00
or its equivalent in the above Degree Programme.

certificate)
DD
in fa vour of The Comptroller, UHS, Bagalkot. (Payable at Bagalkot). DD should
be obtained in any Nationalized Banks only.

For
all the above mentioned disciplines and Degrees, only one application form has
to be submitted.
The
candidates should send the filled-in Application along with all the relevant
copies of Testimonials (SSLC,PUC, UG, PG marks cards, Caste & Income
Certificate etc.) and D.D. as mentioned below obtained on or after the date of
admission Notification but before the last date of submission of Application.
No certificate sent after the last date for receipt of the application will be
accepted except the OGPA card / PDC of qualifying examination for which the
last date of submission will be a day earlier to the date of Entrance Test
(i.e., on or before 27.07.2013).
Filled-in
application should be submitted to the Registrar, University of Horticultural
Sciences, Sector No.60, Navanagar, Bagalkot-587103 on or before 22.07.2013
(5.00 pm).
The
Common Written Test for all the disciplines in MSc (Hort.) & PhD Programmes
will be held at College of Horticulture, Bagalkot, Haveli Campus on 28.07.2013
at 9.00 am (Sunday) for all eligible candidates. The list of eligible
candidates will be uploaded in University Website on 25.07.2013.
