CUSAT CAT: Online Registration from Jan 20

The Online registration for the Common Admission Test (CAT) of Cochin University for Science and Technology (CUSAT) for 2013-14 admission will commence at www.cusat.nic.in on 20th January, 2013. Admissions to the various courses at CUSAT are based on CAT/Departmental Admission Test (DAT)/Test for Lateral Entry (LET) and C-MAT Score for MBA.

CAT for BTech Programmes in Civil, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Information Technology, Safety and Fire, Mechanical, Ship Technology, Marine, Polymer Science & Engineering, Instrumentation, 5 year Integrated M.Sc Photonics, MA Hindi, 5 year BBA.LL.B (Hons), B.Com LL.B, MA Applied Economics and Dual Degree Programmes in MIP.Ph.D and LL.M (IPR) Ph.D will be held on 12th May, 2013 (Sunday).

Admission Test for PG Programmes including LL.M, MCA, 3 year LL.B, M.Sc Applied Chemistry, Biotechnology, Electronics Science, Environmental Technology, Hydrochemistry, Industrial Fisheries, Marine Biology, Marine Geology, Marine Geophysics, Mathematics, Meteorology, Oceanography, Physics, Statistics, Instrumentation, M.F.Sc Sea Food Safety and Trade and M.Sc Biopolymer Science will be held on 11th May, 2013 (Saturday).

B Tech Lateral Entry Test for admission to the third Semester in Civil, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Information Technology, Safety and Fire, Mechanical, Polymer Science& Engineering and Instrumentation will be held on 19th May, 2013 (Sunday). The dates for admissions related to M Tech, MPhil, Ph.D and Diploma Programmes will be announce later by the Departments concerned.

Only online registration will be considered for admissions to academic programmes of CUSAT except MPhil courses, Ph.D Programmes, MA Translation in German/Russian and Diploma/Certificate Programmes. Admission details, eligibility conditions and other particulars will be available in the detailed Notification to be published at www.cusat.nic.in and www.cusat.ac.in

Facility for online registration for CAT including MBA and M Tech Programmes and LET will be available from 20th January to 11th February, 2013. (For admission to MBA Programme, CMAT score is needed). Online Registration for International students can be done between 20th January, 2013 and 30th March, 2013.

Sale of applications and receipt of filled applications for DAT from/at the Departments/ Schools concerned will be carried out between 14th January and 11th February, 2013. Applicants will have the facility to submit the GATE score for M Tech and CMAT score for MBA Programmes, between 15th March and 30th March, 2013.

Candidates will have the facility to download the admit cards for CAT, between 24th April and 12th May, 2013 and that for LET between 8th May and 19th May, 2013.
