Eligibility:
Full Time Program:
A.1 MTech (CE /
EE / ME / PE)
i.
A candidate must have passed
the Bachelor's Degree
Examination in the appropriate branch of engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Production / Electronics &
Communication / Civil / Control & Instrumentation / Computer
Engineering / Information Technology with a minimum of 60% marks
in aggregate from a recognised University
or any other Examination recognized by the University Equivalent thereto.
OR
A
candidate must have passed in the AMIE (India) Exam, with appropriate
specialization / Grade IETE (India) AMIE
(London) AMI Mech. Engg. (London)
AMI Structure Engineering, any other
examination in the concerned branch recognized as equivalent to BTech by
the University.
ii. A candidate for admission to full
time program must have qualified in the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in
Engineering).
A.2 MTech
(Polymer Technology)
i.
The candidate should have passed BE / BTech Examination in any branch of
Engineering with a minimum of 60%
marks in aggregate from a recognised University or any other
Examination recognized by the University equivalent thereto:
OR
MSc
(Chemistry) of any recognized University or equivalent thereto.
ii.
All the candidates for admission to full time
MTech Programs must have qualified in the GATE (Graduate Aptitude
Test in Engineering).
A.3 MTech
(Computer Science and Engineering)
i. The candidate should have passed BE
/ BTech degree from a recognized University in Computer Engineering / Software
Engineering / Information Technology / Electronics & Communication /
Electrical Engineering or MSc in Computer Science(with Physics and Mathematics
at the BSc level) or MCA
(with Physics and Mathematics at BSc level) with a minimum of 60% marks in
aggregate from a recognised University or any other examination recognized by the DTU equivalent thereto.
ii. A candidate for admission to full-time
MTech Program must have qualified in the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).
A.4 MTech
(Microwave and Optical Communication)
i. The candidate should have passed BE
/ BTech Examination in Electronics & Communication with a minimum of 60% marks
in aggregate from a recognised
University or any other examination recognised by DTU equivalent thereto.
OR
MSc
Electronics / MSc in Physics with
Electronics / Radio Physics / Solid
State Physics with a minimum of 60% marks
in aggregate from a recognised
University or any other examination recognised as equivalent by DTU.
ii. A candidate for admission to
full-time MTech Program must have qualified in the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).
A.5 MTech
(Bioinformatics)
i.
A candidate who has passed BTech
(Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent / MSc Micro Biology / Biotechnology from any University recognised by UGC or equivalent
thereto with a CGPA 6.75 on a 10 point scale or 60% marks.
ii.
A candidate for admission to full time program must have qualified the
GATE examination.
A.6 MTech (VLSI
Design and Embedded System) / Information Technology
i.
A candidate must have passed
the Bachelor's Degree
Examination in Electronics
& Communication / Electrical & Electronics / Information
Technology / Computer Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks
in aggregate from a recognized
university or any other examination recognized by the university equivalent thereto.
OR
A
candidate must have passed in the AMIE (India) Exam, with appropriate
specialization / Grade IETE (India) with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or in any other examination in the concerned branch
recognized as equivalent to BE / BTech by University.
ii.
A candidate for admission to full time program must have qualified in
the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) in EC for VLSI Course and
Computer Engineering / EC / IT for the
Information Technology.
A.7 MTech (Nano
Science & Technology)
i.
A candidate who has passed
BE / BTech degree from a recognised University in Electronics & Communication, Electrical,
Electrical & Electronics, Chemical Engineering / Polymer Technology /
Bio-Technology with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.
OR
MSc
Electronics / MSc in Chemistry / MSc in Physics and MSc in Mathematical Science
with a minimum of 60% marks in
aggregate from a recognised University
or any other examination recognised as equivalent by the University.
ii.
A candidate for admission to full time program must have qualified in
the GATE (Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering).
A.8 MTech
(Software Engineering)
i.
The candidate should have passed
BE / BTech (or its equivalent
examination as specified in Computer Engineering / IT / EC or MSc in Computer
Science (with Physics at the BSc
level) or MCA (with Physics and Mathematics at BSc level) with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of a recognised
University or any other examination
recognised by the University equivalent there to.
ii.
A candidate for admission to full-time MTech Program must have a valid
GATE (Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering) score.
A.9 MTech
(Power System)
i. A candidate must have passed the BE / BTech Examination in the appropriate branch of Electrical Engineering, Electrical &
Electronics Engineering with a minimum
of 60% marks in aggregate from a
recognized University or any other
Examination recognised by the University Equivalent thereto.
OR
A
candidate must have passed in the AMIE (India) Exam, with appropriate
specialization / Grade IETE (India),
AMIE (London) with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or in any other examination in the concerned branch recognized as equivalent to
BTech by the DTU, Delhi.
ii. A candidate for admission to
full time program must
have a valid GATE (Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering)
score.
A.10 New MTech
programs added in 2013-14:
a)
MTech (Nuclear Engineering & Technology)
b)
MTech (Computational Design)
c)
MTech (Bio Medical Engineering)
d)
MTech (Industrial Biotechnology)
e)
MTech (Renewable Energy Systems)
The Part Time Program:
Instruction
of part-time Programs are normally arranged from 9.00 am to 11.00 am on 5 days a week and on Saturday / Sundays,
if necessary. Whenever possible the full-time students and part time students
may have combined classes.
Candidates are eligible for admission to these programs provided they satisfy the
eligibility requirement as in A.1(i) or A.2 (i) or A.3 (i) and also the
following conditions :
i. Should be working in an Engineering
Institution in the National Capital Region, Delhi and must have meaningful experience of 1 year
before admission.
OR
Should
be employed in approved reputed Industry / Research / Development / Design /
Training Organizations in National
Capital Region, Delhi and must
have had meaningful experience of 1year before
admission.
ii. Candidate will be required to
continue in such employment during entire period of Program.
Candidates
applying for Part-Time Program
must submit the following documents /
undertaking:
(a)
A clear No objection Certificate (without qualifying conditions) and
(b)
Permission to undergo any training / project outside Delhi for about one month.
This must be submitted along with the application form.
Age Requirement:
A
candidate should have attained the age of 21 years before the first day of
September in the year in which he / she seeks admission. However, the Vice
Chancellor may relax the age limit to a maximum period of one year.

forms can be submitted online at
Fee
for Registration for online admissions is Rs. 1000/- and to be paid through
bank challan on specified dates in the schedule.
Filled in applications are to be
accompanied by:
a) Mark-Sheet of all examinations
passed (where grades are awarded the equivalent of the grades and the
corresponding percentage duly countersigned by the Registrar of the University
should accompany Grade Cards).
b) Conversion formula if results were
in the form of Grades / CGPA
c) GATE Score
d) Proof of Date of Birth
e) Scheduled Caste's / Scheduled
Tribe's / OBC Certificate (for SC / ST / OBC Candidates only)

Registration: 25.04.2013 Thursday from 10:00 am onwards
2. Last date for Online Registration: 14.05.2013 Tuesday (12:00
midnight)
3. Registration fee deposit at any
branch of SBI through bank challan generated during online registration:
17.05.2013 to 24.05.2013
4. List prepared Department wise,
program wise (FT / SFT / PT), Category wise (GEN / SC / ST / OBC), PD wise
handed over to respective departments: 29.5.2013 Wednesday
