Applications are invited by Institute of Distance Education, Doctor Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar (M.P.) 470003 for admission in Correspondence Courses for the Session 2012-2013.

Dr. Hari Singh Gour University is a Central University in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, India. It was founded Sir Hari Singh Gour on 18 July 1946, during the British Raj and is the oldest university in the state.

The main campus of the university is in Sagar City, and the university also has several affiliated colleges and a distance education wing. A medical college is being built in to train students in the field of medical science.

Application Procedure:

The interested persons may request for obtaining the Prescribed application form and the syllabus of the concerned course to the Director, Institute of Distance Education, Dr. Hari Singh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, SAGAR (M.P.) 470 003 by depositing the required amount of Rs. 300/- in the Power Jyoti Account No. 32000156472 of Dr. Hari Singh Gour Vishwavidyalaya at any nearest branch of State Bank of India.

The copies of challans A, B, C can be downloaded from the website www.dhsgsu.ac.in. Send the copy of the challan (C) alongwith a selfaddressed envelope (9”x5” size) with postal stamps of Rs. 32/- affixed on it. However, the deposits can be made on previous challan with no charges.

The last date for submission of application for admission (extended): 28th February, 2013.

After this date the forms will be accepted with a late fee of Rs. 750/- up to 31st March, 2013.
