ESIC D(M)D, Tilak vihar, Delhi : Online Application for Recruitment to the post of Nursing/ Paramedical Staff

Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) Hospital, New Delhi, has invited applications from well-qualified and proficient professionals for recruitment December 2012, for the posts of Nursing / Paramedical Staff (Group C), in Directorate (Medical) Delhi. The recruitment is to be done for the following positions:

• Staff Nurse
• Occupational Therapist
• Pharmacist (Allopathic)
• Operation Theatre Assistant
• Laboratory Assistant
• Nursing Orderly
• Dresser
• Laundry Operator
• Plaster Technician

Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Written Test for the posts of Staff Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Pharmacist, Operation Theatre Asst, Laboratory Asst, Nursing Orderly, Dresser and Laundry Operator. For the post of Plaster Technician, candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test and Interview. The written test is scheduled to be held on January 20, 2013. The written test schedule and center address will be mentioned in the candidate’s admit card, available on the website.

Eligibility:

Staff Nurse

• Diploma in General Nursing and Midwife or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institute
• Must have registered as Nurse with Nursing Council
• Occupational Therapist
• Passed 10+2 or Sr. Secondary with Science from a reputed Board
• 3 years Degree Course or Diploma Training Course in Occupational Therapist from a Central Govt. / State Government / AICTE recognized Institute
• Must have six months internship in the field

Pharmacist (Allopathic)

• Degree in Pharmacy or Sr. Secondary with Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized Institute
• Must have qualified & registered as Pharmacist under Pharmacy Act,1948
• Operation Theatre Assistant
• Passed Senior Secondary or 10+2 with Science or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board
• One year work experience in O.T. of a recognized Hospital

Laboratory Assistant

• Passed Senior Secondary or 10+2 or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board
• Diploma in MLT from an Institute recognized by the AICTE

Nursing Orderly

• Passed Matriculation or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board
• Should have elementary knowledge of First Aid
• One year experience in handling and dressing wounds in Govt. approved or registered Nursing Home / Hospital

Dresser

• Passed Matriculation or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in application of Plasters in an Orthopedic Unit, in a registered / recognized Hospital

Laundry Operator

• Passed Matriculation or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board
• Minimum two years of work experience in Laundry work, comprising Ironing of Clothes / Operating Laundry Machines and Dry Cleaning Plants

Plaster Technician

• Passed 10+2 with Science subjects from a recognized Board
• Minimum two years of work experience in Plaster of Paris Techniques, in the Orthopedic Department, in a recognized Hospital / Medical Institute

How to Apply:

• Candidates, who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are willing to apply, can apply online by visiting the official website of ESIC: http://www.esic.nic.in/recruitment.php
• Online registration began from December 1, 2012 and will close on December 21, 2012.
• After successful submission of the online application form, the system will generate a complete Application Form with Unique Registration No. and Challan Copy, which candidates should print out and use for the further process.
• Candidates should pay the application fees for Rs 125, through Challan, in any branch of Punjab National Bank, in the Account No. mentioned on the Challan, on or before December 24, 2012.
• After paying the application fees, the bank will generate a complete Challan with unique Deposit Transaction ID, which candidates are required to fill in the printed system generated application form.
• Candidates should mention their name, address and name of the post applied for on the reverse side of the Bank Challan.
• System Generated Application Form, along with the Bank Challan and attested copies of all relevant certificates, should be submitted to The Joint Director (Admn.) Employees’ State Insurance Corporation, Directorate (Medical) Delhi, ESI Scheme: Dispensary Complex, Tilak Vihar (Tilak Nagar), New Delhi - 110018, by registered / speed post latest by December 30, 2012.
• Candidates belonging to far-flung areas can send their System Generated Application Form latest by January 7, 2013.
• Candidates should mention “Application for the post of _________” on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
